Friday!

Yesterday I managed to waste a lot of time leaving none to write in the blog. Here is a quick rundown of what happened before I get to today… Property in the morning and then LRW. Afterwards, Mark and I outlined Con Law for the week and then I hit the gym. I did the…

Real busy

Yesterday was so busy I didn’t even have time to write in the blog! I was either preparing for class or in class… I finally got home about 8:30 for some dinner and then, you guessed it, more reading and class preparation. I did find time for a 42 minute run for 6.25 miles on…

A stormy day!

A downright stormy day in the bay today! Uncharacteristic to the sunny and warm days we have been having, it has been blowing hard with sideways rain for the better part of the day. I actually like stormy weather, unless I have to bike to class in it. By the time my pants dried out…

Workout

A good workout at Arrillaga was the highlight of the day. I finally got back to 10 reps of 150 pounds and it was exhilarating. I then followed it with 6 reps of 155 soon after. The rest of the workout was great too, with the normal cable cross overs, abs, and some leg weights….

Saturday

Yesterday featured periods of reading, the gym, and an undergrad party. The gym workout was good, hitting the back muscles first and then the treadmill for 5.25 miles in 36 minutes. The reading included Con Law and Antitrust. I also took a look at job opportunities in Seattle for the summer. I have compiled a…

Dinner at my sister’s

I just got back from a delicious dinner and an all-around good time at my sister Talli and her husband David’s house in Fremont across the bridge. The meal opened with a mouthwatering soup and then shifted to some tasty Tofu seasoned to perfection, steamed quinoa, and squash. The scrumptious dinner finished off with some…

Yea

Ahhh, today was much better – mostly due to the fact it was another day. Class in the morning was like usual except Professor Kelmen threw in a couple more wierd one-liners than typcial. LRW was, well, LRW. I definitely have to get this argument section of my appellate brief down right after I finish…

Streaking

I am on a not-so-good streak as of late. Rejected from Wilson, rejected from Microsoft, rejected from Orrick, feeling a bit sick, rejected, rejected, did I mention getting rejected?? I am a tiny bit disappointed, especially with Microsoft, but screw it, life is too short to be upset about it. I’m feeling too good about…

Circular Tables

I was thinking today in the conference room during Law, Technology and Privacy class, “if this table was circular I could see everybody and I wouldn’t have to lean forward or backward to see people at the ends of the table.” I remember some really good times around circular tables during dinner with the Track/Cross…

Wiretapping

Today was an interesting class in Constitutional Law. We got to do a little mini-moot court thing about the NSA warrantless wiretapping controversy swirling around the Bush Administration. In a show of my abilities to argue both sides, I volunteered to take the side defending Bush’s wiretapping program. It was really fun – I enjoy…
