On Tuesday I climbed Mt. Olympus in 11 hours, 30 minutes roundtrip!! As far as I know, this bettered the previous record by over 4.5 hours! I started at 2:46 am and finished up at 2:17 pm. The climb was one of my all time favorites with gorgeous weather and idyllic conditions. The Olympus massif and Blue Glacier are simply amazing and it was an unforgettable experience. I felt pretty good the whole way but the exhaustion set in when I arrived home. After a couple days of rest I feel much better! Sweet!!
