Costco!!

The highlight today was going to Costco – one of my favorite stores. I look forward to going to Costco like I do for a vacation! Let’s just say my food rations are set for a couple weeks.

Today’s run was better than I expected. After the miserable outing on Monday, I wasn’t keeping my hopes up for a fun run, but I held up for the normal 48 minute Oak Creek run. It wasn’t blazing, but I felt ok, especially for just recovering from sickness and the longish hiatus from running. I also preempted the blister by sticking a large square of moleskin on the blister prone area.

The weather here in California is unbelievable. It feels like spring outside with blazing sunshine and temperatures in the low 60’s. The best part is that benign weather pattern is forecasted to persist through next week and perhaps longer. We sure are spoiled here in Palo Alto 🙂 !
