The annual thanksgiving dinner at my brother-in-law’s parents house was awesome as usual. I was definitely stuffed with some excellent food! It was nice to see everybody as well.
The mini-vacation has been very chill around here with exercise and some reading/writing for class. I ran yesterday and felt pretty good except for section in the middle where I had a stomach ache (62 minute run + 3 minute cool down, 10 miles). Today I drove out to the Marin Headlands for a run and it was pretty cool. There were three monstrous hills with the middle one being the hardest. It’s basically either up or down out there! The views to the Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco, and the rugged coastline were sweet. The run was about 12.5 miles, 2,300 ft of elevation gain, and took 92 minutes. I haven’t been able to hit the hills as much as I would have liked to over the last three weeks (essentially no hills) so I am quite tired and sore right now!
