Check out the official trip report and more photos of yesterday's climb of Mount Rainier here. Below is a panorama from high on the slopes of the mountain with 12,200+ foot Mount Adams (I like to call it mini-Rainier) in the distance.
I got a great opportunity to relax and rest today. I watched both world cup soccer games and the U.S. Track and Field Championships. Then, I went to Costco and Trader Joe's to purchase some of my favorite food items. On the whole, my body feels great and I am not too sore. My knee feels better – a good sign that it is headed in the right direction.
Tomorrow I head back into work. I start work on a new case (in addition to the ones I am already working on) involving Antitrust issues so that should be fun.
A nice photo of Andrew resting on Columbia Crest, the summit of 14,411 foot Mount Rainier. What an awesome climb with superb weather and conditions!
