Above is the video for the song “Fidelity” by Regina Spektor. The song has been getting some airplay and when I heard it for the first time, I wasn’t sure what to think of it. After all, it’s not the typical music genre for me, but hey, I listen to all kinds of music. Anyway, it grew on me subconsciously and now I think it’s awesome. The video is pretty cool too. I’ve listened to some of her other stuff and it’s good – she has a unique and beautiful voice and the music she creates is very musically interesting. It’s nice to hear somebody with real music talent and not the ditziness that pervades pop culture. Check out the article on wikipedia to learn more about this up-and-coming artist.
In addition to wearing the crown in Corporations, I completed the research paper on mountaintop removal mining in the central Appalachian Mountains. The title of the paper is “Defenders of Appalachia” and it is 62-pages long – all quality and no fluff! I am proud of it. I think my partner and I produced an excellent paper!
Exercise: Another solid run of the Oak Creek loop was snuck in between Corporations and Patents. Tomorrow I plan on lifting at Arrillaga gym, one of my favorite spots!!
