Long day

I am seriously more busy now that classes are over than I was all semester. Studying for these finals is time-consuming and arduous. I basically studied all day today with breaks to eat and surf the web. I needed the caffeine, but I don’t enjoy drinking diet Coke’s, Pepsi’s, or any of those carbonated beverages….

Exam #1

One exam down, three to go. I thought I did well, I came out of the test with no critical regrets or realizations of things I forgot. I did my best and that’s all I can ask of myself. I did shoot myself in the foot a little in one regard. In a stroke of…

Practice Tests

Basically all I have done today is practice (previously administered) tests for Con Law. I also went to the law school for a root beer float that was tasty. It fit in perfectly with the sunny and warm weather. Check out the satellite photograph above, there isn’t a cloud for hundreds of miles around the…

And another one…

Another spectacular day at Stanford weatherwise. It’s like somebody took the forecast, brought it to a copy machine, and made 20 copies. Upper 70’s during the day, comfortable at night – this is how it’s supposed to be. I have essentially completed my paper for privacy class. I edited and bluebooked yesterday and it is…

Con Law

Another beautiful spring day in California, another day studying for finals! Unfortunately, this outcome will be repeating itself for the next 10 days. I got some quality studying in for Constitutional law today, so that makes me feel like it was worthwhile. Lots of Supreme Court cases, so I decided to post a picture of…

Lakers = finished

My least favorite team in all of sports, the Los Angeles Lakers, were just eliminated from the playoffs. After leading the series 3-1 and causing me to give up on the Suns, the Lakers took a monumental tumble. The Phoenix suns torched the Lakers on this, the deciding seventh game, scoring 121 points and blowing…

Cinco de Mayo!

Cinco is always a festive today, this year was no different. The law school really goes all out for this party. The annual Cinco de Mayo bash features catered Mexican food, plenty of drink, Aztec dancers, traditional Mexican dance, pinata, and an after party with more traditional club music and more drinking. The food was…

Mount St. Helens

Mount St. Helens is a volcano in Washington State that is famed for its May 18, 1980 eruption. I will commemorate the eruption on the date. For now, I want to write about Mount St. Helens current "active" phase which started in October 2004. Originally, activity on the mountain made national news. But after a…

Quick Update

A short post to make up for the fact that I didn’t post yesterday (sorry). Today was another busy day and it seemed like it flew by. Con law exam is less than a week away. I know that no matter what I do, I won’t feel completely prepared for this exam, but I am…

More evidence

Even more evidence that human-induced global warming is real and its negative repercussions are occurring NOW. This article focuses on the effects of global warming on Pacific trade winds, specifically the weakening of the Walker Circulation. This circulation effects climate around the globe and its further weakening could severely disrupt the ecosystem of the ocean,…
