Edgewood Wildflowers!

Edgewood Park is a great local trail running destination a short jog from my front door. I often run these trails in the morning when I’m short on time, but running here does not sacrifice beauty and enjoyment. Edgewood is a wonderful mixture of oak woodland and serpentine grassland with grand views of the San Francisco Bay. There is a 9 mile route through the park, affectionately known as the “Edgewood EFI,” that utilizes virtually all the paths in the park with little repetition. Edgewood is most famous for its magnificent display of wildflowers every spring and this year was no different. Here are some photos from a visit to Edgewood Park at the peak of the wildflower season in perfect weather.
