Today I had a super fun run on the Lake Youngs Loop. The excellent trail around the periphery of the watershed is 9.6 miles long and is on great surface. There are rolling hills and it is 70% in the shade. I did the loop in 58 minutes (59 minutes from the car). Here is a link to a map of the loop.
Tomorrow I head back to California to begin my third year of law school at Stanford. It’s amazing how fast my month at home in Sammamish has flown by. I managed to get in 6 speed climbs and lots of rest. I return home for a week in mid-September so I am not too sad to leave (our new computer and wireless internet has been great). Tomorrow will be a busy day moving into my new studio and getting everything situated so it’s time to get some rest.
