Last weekend, Steven and I drove out Mineral King in Sequoia National Park to climb Black Kaweah. On Saturday we did an acclimitization climb of Sawtooth Peak and on Sunday I climbed Black Kaweah in 15:35, starting at 1:30 am and finishing at 5:05 pm. It was a sweet climb in an outrageously scenic part of the high Sierra. We enjoyed perfect fall weather – crisp and clear!
