I would like to do a hike from your same starting point, following the same route all the way to the point where PCT meets Glen Alpine Trail, which would be my exit route. I’m just thinking this way to shorten the mileage without losing too much of the view. I would leave one car in each side. Two questions for you. 1- What do you think of this idea. 2- I’ve never ever done more than 1-2 miles of offtrail hiking in my life. Is the route obvious? With a long day ahead what I really don’t want to do is to be forced to retrace my steps. Thank you and awesome pictures!!
