I just noted your comments regarding Happy Forks campsite, did you take a picture? We plan to bivy 5 scouts and three adults is there room between the trees? I remember one big oak down and one big one snagged in a living oak in 2014.. hopefully it was the snag that came down…

Roger, I just did it. Jackson Creek has water all the way up to (and beyond) where the usepath leaves for the Jackson saddle. In addition, there was water on the other side of the saddle in the headwaters of the Little Sur River.
