The traverse from Canyon Creek up to L, Sawtooth and Smith Lake was some of the most scenic backcountry I’ve experienced.

I’m looking forward to making my way through your trip reports and checking out more beautiful places. Enjoy the summer!

Our mission is to celebrate, educate, and inspire by sharing the stories of the amazing variety of places that have been conserved in our county, and of the dedicated people who have worked to protect and steward them. If we may use this photo, please let us know how the credit should read. Please reply to my email address. Thank you for your prompt response, and for your excellent photos and trip reports. (I tried to contact you via CascadeClimbers last year, but did not get a reply, so hope you will receive this message.) — Laurie S./for TCT Project Team 559-561-0111

I love following your adventures and adventuring in the High Sierra. I host a podcast called All Bodies Outside that connects to my research as a professor of park management and conservation. I was wondering if you’d be interested to be on the podcast?

Thanks for kindly considering my request.

These are hands down the most gorgeous photos of this beautiful peak, Little Lakes Valley below and the surrounding Sierras. I climbed this mountain back in 1975, and have one poor photo of three of us near the top. I have not climbed it since, and have been searching for photos which capture the the beauty and magnificence of it all. And yours do. Was Dade Lake truly this color of aqua blue” Amazing. Love the way you captured the frozen ice layer and water beneath. And the flowers are a treat to see. Amazing, that flowers grow up this high.. You were blessed with a crystal blear blue sky. In recent years past, air has been hazy due to Forest Fires. I think only year in the past 4 -5 years have I been there on a clear day. It does not seem like you alter your photos much, you just are able to capture the pure essence of it all. I love the vantage points you chose to take pics at, I could go on and on. So thank you, thank you, thank you!
